Wye Vista, Wye River Victoria
This is a modern three bedroom beach which is located in the heart of Wye River. Its a 2 hour drive from Melbourne or 15 minutes from Lorne.
Wye Vista accommodates nine, with two queen size beds and five bunk beds. Ocean views from most rooms are a feature of this spectacular house.
There is an extensive decking area and large games room with pool table which makes the house great for entertaining. Plus, it is just a few minutes walk to the beach.
I really liked this house because there is a lot of space and Toby and I could enjoy the ocean breeze from the decking. There is no fenced yard for dogs but the balcony is large and fully fenced with a secure gate. There are umbrellas to provide shade but I would not leave a dog unsupervised on the balcony in case the shade is lost. There is a large cool garage under the house which can be accessed from inside where a dog could safely and comfortably hang out- be sure to take your own bedding at it is not provided.
Floorboards throughout the house make it easy to clean up any loose dog hair.
Wye River beach allows dogs off leash from May1-Dec23rd. From December 24-April 30 dogs are prohibited between 9am and 7pm.
