Johanna Seaside Cottages

Just off the Great Ocean Road this is a unique group of cottages which enjoy views over the river flats, undulating hills and the ocean.
All cottages are dog friendly and there is 260 hectares for walks. Most cottages are fully fenced and a kennel can be supplied on request.
Dogs can walk on the beach provided they are kept on a lead.
Its not just accommodation that is dog friendly- we discovered many forest walks such as the Otway Forest park where dogs were permitted, provided they are on leash )as well as dog friendly beaches.

The Great Ocean Road is only a few hundred kilometers long but I recommend spending at least a couple of nights to enjoy the area and give your pooch lots of pit stops and play as well. The area has many attractions including the Port Campbell National Park, the world famous ’12 Apostles’- eroded sandstone outcrops, stunning beaches, cheeseries and restaurants.

Great backyard for the dogs

The Retreat, Portsea VIC

My dog's loved their weekend adventure at The Retreat, Portsea. The back garden was fully secure and large enough to play frisbee and other ball games. There are great walks all around the area and nearby Shelley beach is an off leash dog beach.
